Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Research shows that children whose parents maintain consistent involvement in their education are more likely to succeed academically. Parental involvement also has a positive influence on children's attitudes, behaviors, self-esteem, and motivation...all important to life success. As a community, it is important for us to explore this topic and support parents in becoming more involved in their children's education. As a mother and mental health professional, I'm deeply vested in the success of children and families in Palm Beach County. Educational success helps lay the foundation for the future...we need to strive to provide all parents and teachers with the support needed to help our children succeed.
Renée E. Layman, MS, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 15 years of experience specific to children's mental health, social emotional issues, and parenting.
