Volunteer with the Homeless Advisory Board Housing Committee
Palm Beach County's Homeless Advisory Board (HAB) Housing Committee is working toward their Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness in Palm Beach County. Their tasks include reviewing affordable housing options in Palm Beach County, and proposing initiatives to create additional affordable housing.
To volunteer to work with the HAB Housing Committee, visit United Way's Volunteer Center. They seek:
- volunteers with advocacy skills, needs assessment skills, and construction/maintenance skills;
- assistance with food pantries, crisis hotlines, clerical work, and outreach.
